Overview

Thanks to its versatility, PROFIBUS DP has become a well established technology in many areas of industrial automation. However, some fields of application have special requirements, e.g., with regard to parametrization or scheduled communication, which make it necessary to expand the scope of the original standard. This seminar introduces additional services and their application and lets participants use them in practice.
