Visualizing S7 data in Microsoft Excel
This sample application of the S7/S5 OPC Server demonstrates the use of Microsoft Excel as a visualization application for process data in S7 controllers.
The sample application comprises a 30-day demo version of the S7/S5 OPC Server, a 30-day demo version of the OPC Client Controls and the demo version of a soft PLC that simulates an S7 controller with a CPU 416.
In a sample project, the S7 soft PLC generates incrementing and decrementing counters as well as sine curves of different frequencies for a duration of 60 minutes.
