Fourth-generation OPC Toolbox

The OPC Toolbox comprises a suite of C++ and .NET toolkits, ActiveX and .NET controls for the rapid development of Data Access, XML-DA and Alarms&Events clients and servers for Windows, Windows CE, Linux, VxWorks, and additional embedded operating systems. A code-generation assistant (wizard), a context sensitive online-help, and powerful diagnostic tools ensure instant success with your OPC development.

Painless Migration to OPC Unified Architecture

OPC Unified Architecture (UA) is the OPC Foundation's next generation technology for secure, reliable, and interoperable transport of raw data and pre-processed information from the shop floor into production planning or the ERP system. One of the major advantages of OPC UA is its independence from the Windows operating system. Softing’s engineering team took advantage of this fact, has already ported its OPC UA software to Linux and VxWorks and joined Wind River’s Partner Validation Program to serve the embedded systems market. Softing AG has established a migration strategy allowing OPC manufacturers to migrate easily to the new OPC architecture. As a member of the UA Early Adopter Group of the OPC Foundation, Softing actively contributes to the launch of the new technology generation.
