Softing Joins Wind River's Partner Validation Program to Serve the Embedded Systems Market

Softing, the world leader in providing conformant OPC development toolkits for the developing industrial OPC products, announced it has joined the Wind River Partner Validation Program to provide OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) toolkits to the embedded systems market.

Softing's OPC UA toolkits facilitate the rapid development of industry-hardened OPC Servers and Clients. As part of the program, Softing will integrate and validate its toolkits with Wind River's market-leading embedded operating systems, VxWorks and Wind River Linux.

The OPC UA Toolkits are designed to assist software engineers to implement high-performance OPC Clients/Servers. Softing's OPC toolkits significantly reduce the development effort by allowing the developer to concentrate on transmitting data and not on learning the intricacies of the new OPC UA technology.
