Service Interface for PROFIBUS DP

Area of Application
The D-sub service interface provides an access point for testing PROFIBUS networks if the existing D-sub connectors have no service socket or if bus stations are connected via a terminal block.
The service interface can power the terminating resistor of the D-sub connector. You can thus use it as an active bus termination at the beginning or end of the bus. If the PLC allows dropping and adding bus stations on the live bus, you will need this external bus termination to be able to exchange the first and last bus stations without causing problems on the bus.
- adapter of type PBMB
- 90° angled PROFIBUS connector with screw terminal technology, strain relief and switchable terminating resistor
- BC-PBMB-PB-S

Area of Application
This service interface provides an access point for testing PROFIBUS networks on which M12 connection technology is used.
The service interface is installed between two bus stations. The supplied cable has to be used to maintain the required minimum distance between the connection point and the bus station, at least if the baud rate is 1.5 Mbit/s or higher. The T piece must not be screwed directly to a bus station in that case.
- T piece protection class IP 67 if screw-mounted with end cap
- 1m PROFIBUS DP cable fitted with a male/female M12 connector on each end
- BC-M12DP-PB
