FG-100 fieldbus gateways

The FG-100 fieldbus gateways is a new product family for the easy Ethernet connection of networks in automation technology. Acting as a gateway between host systems on the Ethernet and the local fieldbus, the FG-100 are important links for tasks like network configuration, device parameterization, diagnostics and operational data collection. All this can now be done directly from the PC workstation; being on site is no longer a necessity for running the plant.

Fieldbus access via Ethernet

The FG-100s also enables the existing fieldbus to be integrated into the emerging Industrial Ethernet architectures. The gateways feature a 100BASE-TX Ethernet port with transfer rates of 100 Mbits/s and 10 Mbits/s as well as four independent H1 channels. All FG-100s are supplied in a compact case for DIN rail assembly. The gateways feature industry standard 24 V power supply. Windows drivers are provided for easy integration into PC networks. The FG-100s are configured via embedded web pages.
